1 day workshop for kids aged 7 – 12. Design and build and take home your string art electronic animal!

Calling all young makers and creators!

Designed for curious minds aged 7 to 12, this hands-on workshop combines the intricate beauty of string art with the dazzling world of electronics to bring the wonders of wild animals right into our creative space.

As young explorers, participants will dive into the habitats of their favourite wild animals. But that’s just the beginning! Guided by our team of friendly experts, each child will then bring their chosen animal to life using with string art, creating stunning pieces that capture the spirit and essence of the wild.

We’ll add a spark of magic by integrating simple electronics into our artworks. Imagine a lion whose mane glows at sunset or a firefly that truly lights up the night — the possibilities are as boundless as the animal kingdom itself.

By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created a unique, glowing masterpiece that celebrates the beauty of wild animals, armed with new skills and a deeper appreciation for both art and nature.

No previous experience is necessary, just a spirit of adventure and a love for animals and creativity. All materials are provided, so come ready to explore, create, and be amazed at what you can achieve when art and science collide in the wild world of string art and electronics!
