CurioCity Play: Minecraft

Participants complete an engaging challenge using CurioCity’s private and secure Minecraft server. They work in teams to create a safe haven for scientists (and animals) in a ‘not-always-friendly’ Minecraft biome. Working against the clock, they design and build their base to ensure everyone is safe. No Minecraft experience needed, so everyone, from beginners to experts, can play and enjoy.

Space: We will need a larger sized room (but we will make whichever area work) with space to run the activities. Participants can work on a table or on the floor with beanbags, cushions etc.

Technologies and materials: CurioCity will provide all iPads, laptops, materials and equipment needed. However, we will need to connect to the internet using your Wi-Fi – please let us know if this is a problem or you do not have access to the internet (broadband).

Timing: We will arrive 20 minutes before the start of the activity to set up.
