DESCRIPTION
The batteries are located under a steel floor panel on the machine’s platform.

This option provides an additional layer of insulating rubber that lines the inside surface of the battery compartment.

NOTES
The additional layer of rubber provides additional electrical isolation between the battery terminals (and wiring) and reduces the likelihood of the battery short circuiting with the inside of the housing cover (in this case, the floor panel).
