We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, kindness and consideration and so we have put in place rules for workshop participants to follow. These guidelines will be explained to your child upon their arrival at the workshop. We would like to emphasise that at a CurioCity workshop, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying or any form of disrespect towards others. You and your child must adhere to CurioCity’s Terms and Conditions, behave responsibly and respectfully to other participants and CurioCity staff. You acknowledge that our ability to provide the workshop depends on yours, and your child’s cooperation, and the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide to us. We reserve the right to refuse enrolment in any course to any individual who we believe poses a risk to other course participants or to the location where the course is being held. Additionally, anyone who violates the course regulations may be asked to leave the premises. Any fees paid for individuals who are not admitted under these circumstances will not be refunded.

Participants must only use equipment as instructed by workshop teachers in a safe, responsible and respectful manner, and for no other purpose.

CurioCity does not assume liability for any injury or subsequent expenses incurred by your child or minor while participating in a workshop. CurioCity is not liable for the loss or damage to personal property, including money or valuables, belonging to your child or minor. CurioCity reserves the right to make a reasonable and fair demand for payment for damages to the equipment, or workshop or other items supplied by CurioCity resulting from the actions or inactions of you, your child, or minor.

Recording images of individuals not affiliated with you is prohibited, except with their prior consent. For minors, consent must be obtained from their legal guardians.

Cancellation Fees

If not specifically stated or mutually agreed upon in writing, the commencement of all courses will occur on the date that we indicate in the order confirmation. We retain the right to modify or terminate workshops up to 3 business days before the class start date.

We will make reasonable attempts to provide advance notice of any course cancellations. In the event that the course cannot be rescheduled, you may be eligible for a refund of the fee paid for the cancelled services. However, you will not be entitled to any other compensation, costs, losses, or damages resulting from the cancellation.

You may receive a full credit or refund if you inform us of your program cancellation 28 or more days prior to the start date. If you notify us in writing that you would like to cancel your holiday workshop between 28 days and 2 days before the workshop start date, the workshop fee is non-refundable. However, you will receive a workshop credit equivalent to the same value. You may use this credit to transfer to any other program offered during another holiday period within one year of the original workshop date. A fee of 20% will be imposed on this credit issuance as administrative charges.

If you notify us within 48 hrs of the commencement of the workshop, you will be issued a workshop credit to the same value. An administration fee of 50% of the workshop fee will be charged.

Email info@curiocity.au for any cancellations or issuing of a credit.
